I have found my new sauce obsession: cowboy butter dipping sauce. This sauce goes with everything! It's creamy and zesty with an irresistible kick of heat.
It's perfect as a dipping sauce for steak or seafood like crab meat and shrimp, but it's so delicious on its own that you can even enjoy it with a fresh piece of French bread or over a simple vegetable side dish.
Give this easy cowboy butter sauce recipe a try and I know you'll want to pair it with everything. Make extra - it's simple to store and save for later!
I tried it! It came out. Perfect lunch or dinner paired with fresh picked vegetables from the garden.

Excellent! Delicious with steak and oven-roasted veggies. I used a pinch of cayenne instead of pepper flakes and added chopped tarragon, thyme, and a teaspoon of anchovy paste. The sauce tasted better after resting for a few hours. Leftovers freeze well.Reply
