From singing bosses to unexpected rhythm minigames get into the groove with these musical surprises.
Making daily schedules, creating weekly to-do lists, and maybe even writing a journal can minimize personal chaos. Would you like to gamify this? If you're into gamification, Spirit City - Lofi Sessions might be for you. It lets you create a virtual self, track daily tasks, and find hidden spirits, all accompanied by lofi beats.
Adjust Settings To Lure The Spirits
If you want to find spirits, the first thing you should do is check the Spiritdex. Remember that even if you meet the requirements to find the spirits, you still need to increase your Spiritographer level.
Spirits you can't unlock will have a spirit symbol displayed.

When you click on the ones you can unlock, a hint will appear in the bottom right corner of the journal interface. These hints indicate what you need to do to find the spirits. For example: "The past few mornings I've been awoken by a curious chirping noise."
To find the spirit with this hint, you should position your virtual character accordingly; since waking up to bird sounds is mentioned, your character's activity should involve being in bed, and either the browsing or relaxing activity will suffice. Next, you'll need to adjust the lighting, and since the hint mentions 'morning', you should select that option from the settings.

Finally, you'll need to enable a sound setting from the Sounds section, and by selecting 'Birds Singing', you'll have applied all the setting changes mentioned in the hint. In short, look at hints to find a spirit, then adjust the sound, activity, and lighting settings to lure the spirits.
Sometimes, even if you adjust the settings for luring, it doesn't mean you'll immediately find the spirit; you may need to wait a bit. If you've done everything correctly, don't forget to look for a glowing ring around the Spiritdex icon.
Don't Worry About Earning EXP
To earn EXP in the game, there are three daily things you need to do:
- Log in to the game daily.
- Complete the tasks you set for yourself daily.
- Run the timer daily.
You earn EXP every minute to a certain extent, and you also earn EXP by discovering new spirits. When you level up, you earn Spirit Credits, and you can lure new spirits and gain new hints to lure them by leveling up.

Other than that, there's no benefit to leveling up, so there's no need to rush to level up. It would be more advantageous for you to see the game as a useful tool, and as long as you use this tool efficiently, you'll earn EXP anyway.
Spirit Credits Serve No Purpose Other Than Visual Changes
Apart from leveling up to earn Spirit Credits, you have no other option. Remember, there are a total of 50 levels in the game, and even though the maximum level may seem far away, rest assured, you'll be there in no time.
With the Spirit Credits you earn by leveling up, you can either buy decorations for the atmospheric room you're in or purchase different outfits from the Wardrobe section. Besides providing visual differences, they don't offer any advantage in terms of catching spirits or anything else in the game.

Additionally, from the wardrobe, you can also purchase colors for the spirits, allowing you to choose a skin that suits your taste.
Use The To-Do List Effectively
You can use the in-game To-Do list to jot down the tasks you have in mind as soon as you wake up or, if there's something you need to do in the upcoming days, you can add it to the list to ensure you don't forget. The task at the top of the list will appear next to the clock in the bottom right corner of the interface.

As you complete the tasks throughout the day, check off the checkbox, and you can now focus on the next task. After finishing tasks, if you don't have anything else related to that task in mind, it's logical to remove it from the To-Do list.
Also, keeping the undone tasks at the top of the list and the completed ones below, if you haven't deleted them, will make it look more organized and make it easier to find them.
Combining The Timer With The To-Do List Is Better
You can use the timer to set up sessions and breaks for yourself; for example, if you're going to exercise at home or want to clean your rooms gradually, you can set the desired time for the task and also set up breaks. You can use the plus and minus buttons next to the empty circle underneath the text on the timer to set up loops.

Continuing with the exercise example, let's say you did various exercise movements for five minutes, then set yourself a two-minute break, and if you increase the loop once, it means you'll work for another five minutes after the break. So, there will be a break time between each loop you add, and if you're doing a task without breaks, keep the loop setting as a single circle.
The game's Journal section is entirely about what's going on inside you, it's about what you're feeling, and thinking, your dreams, and memories. If it makes you feel good, you can write something every day, and you can also check or delete the entries you've written anytime.

When adding a new journal entry, you can choose a question from the dropdown menu above; this way, the game gives you a topic to write about. It is possible that responding to these topics might be challenging for you at first, as all these questions are tools to help you achieve your goals.
For example, under "Did I accomplish my goals today?" you can write about why you couldn't achieve your goals or your future aspirations, even if you haven't set any goals yet.
The Habits Section Is Useful For Recurring Tasks
You can use the in-game To-Do list more for non-recurring tasks, and if you have tasks that you repeat on certain days of the week, the Habits section is a very useful tool for this. Just like the To-Do list, it's beneficial to check it regularly; for example, if you want to paint figures every Wednesday and Friday but keep forgetting, you can remind yourself by checking here.
✕ Remove Ads
Also, after adding a habit here, when you hover over the checkboxes under the days, small plus and minus buttons appear. This toggles the fading of the checkbox under that day so, if you only need to remember and do tasks on weekends, you can make the checkboxes for weekdays fade.
You Don't Have To Listen To Lo-Fi Beats Only
You don't have to listen to just Lo-Fi beats while doing your tasks or favorite activities. After clicking on the Music button in the game, you'll see playlist images on the left side, and when you scroll to the bottom, you'll see the Web music browser.
From there, you can open other music from YouTube that motivates you, makes you happy, or that you enjoy. For example, you might enjoy working while listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtracks, or you might have another favorite music group you can continue listening to while getting your tasks done.
